Back in May, my husband Dan and I went to visit Storm King. Storm King is a 400 acre Art Center in New York State that focuses on outdoor sculpture. They have an incredible collection, beautifully installed on the property.

We have wanted to go there for many years. Finally, we looked it up on the internet, found a wonderful Bed and Breakfast close by, and off we went.

The photographs I am showing at the Gallery this month (Sept) were taken there during our visit.

Three of them involve the use of my gazing ball and the “money” shot is a straight photograph of a section of a sculpture by Johnny Swing titled “Butterfly Chair”. My titles credit the sculptors who’s work is seen or reflected in the photographs.
